My Family Used To Call A Bell Pepper A Mango

When I was little my family would always call bell peppers mangoes , how about you?! When I moved from the Midwest to California, I was shocked when I found out what a mango really was when I began working for a local grocery chain. Boy, we were SO FAR OFF THAT IT'S STILL EMBARRASSING!🫑🥭 However, it is still common enough that the Webster dictionary's definition for mango includes a sweet pepper.   Some grocery stores will call their bell peppers “ mango peppers ” so that everybody knows exactly what type of food they are looking at. I do wonder how that would work for anybody wanting to prepare a Mango and Bell Pepper Salsa. Although both the bell pepper and the mango are fruits, a pepper is a pepper and a mango is a mango. Imagine ordering a delicious tropical mango fruit drink and receiving a bell pepper drink.🤣 Tropical Mango Fruit Drinks Made In Hawaii Why is bell pepper call mango in the first place? A Warning About Temu Nowadays:  Beware Of Temu Refund Issued Due To Unusual Or Suspicious Activity Repeatedly Or Detected Unusual Activity And Then Suspend Your Account After They Add Them-self To Your Auto Payments On Venmo , Your Credit Card (They Did On My Chase Twice), Your Paypal, Or Your Bank Or Any Auto Pay They Accept For Purchases! I Have Bought Stuff On The Temu App For Several Years And Have NEVER Had This Issue Until 2026, Maybe They Are Getting Revenge Because Of The Tariff War Between US And China ...It's All Gone Bad For Sure!

They are known lately for frequently canceling orders for no good reason at all and then issuing refunds due to "unusual payment activity," which trapping their loyal buyers in a web of account restrictions or sometimes even permanently suspended accounts. This is especially common if a customer uses accumulated store credits, makes small orders, or adds a new payment method. Then then are faced with very terrible customer service. Instead of giving a legitimate reason for canceling the orders, Temu now accuses their actual customers of fraud! This is especially happening with their local United States Of America warehouses! They did it to me, and I am unhappy. 😠

As stated before, I have bought products from them numerous times over the years. I know, I probably shouldn't have at all. The reason I ordered this T shirt a couple of days ago was because elsewhere the same shirt would cost in the range of $15 to $20 and the exact shirt size and design on Temu was only $4.88 and there was only ONE LEFT. Lol - I fell for the scam. But, at least I was refunded and promptly. Still though: On the phone, THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE CALLED ME FRAUDULENT FOR DETECTING SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY DURING MY PURCHASE ...REALLY? I guess I should have just gone with the more costly American one and avoided these shenanigans.
