Wise Words Of Wisdom

Image
I don't really have any thoughts this fine Monday afternoon. I just have the echo of the wise words of encouragement and advice of Katherine Stewart, a soul beloved to so many. Her beliefs, her philosophy, and her mantra were always summed up in two simple words; "Always Care". That philosophy was more than just a motto; the philosophy in those words were the road map with which she navigated her own life, and the inspiration she instilled in the minds and hearts of the countless people she inspired over the years. "Always Care" was just the way Katherine Stewart, or Katie Bug The Lady Bug, as she was so lovingly known to so many, rolled. And I can tell all of you personally, that the "Always Care" philosophy of life is still relevant and very powerful. I can tell you how many times her words helped me, God Bless You Always and Forever, Mrs. Katherine Stewart. Thank you for all the lives you molded, and the lives, like me, that those lives continue to ...

Green Bell Peppers or Mangoes?

Image
Is it a green bell pepper or a mango? Most people know the difference. But, that might been a different story to elderly Midwestern people! My mom was a native of Central Indiana, and one thing I managed to not figure out until later on was that green bell peppers are not really mangoes. In the Midwest of the USA, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Missouri, Kentucky, and Indiana in particular...many people call green bell peppers 'mangoes' because they were raised this way. A lot of the older generations call a green pepper a mango because they have been called mangoes for over 500 years. "Hey, Sweetie, please slice up this green mango for Granny, thanks, Hon!". When is a Bell Pepper a Mango? Are mangoes a tropical fruit that grow on mango trees? Why and what do some people call green bell peppers as mangoes, especially older people? Both are actually called FRUIT but most refer to a pepper as a vegetable...let me solve that great green pepper vs mango Mango Tango mystery for you, ...

A Cupcake Addiction Frenzy has been on the rise the last couple of years with new cupcake flavors such as Peach Cobbler Delight, Raspberry Rainbow Dash, Gigi's Blueberries and Cream, and Creamy Coffee Craves. Gigi's Sinful Macaroons, and Peanut Butter Fudge Brownie - then why not cupcake recipes too?! People find delight in discovering personal euphoria with enjoyable flavors. George S. This is a rare photograph taken on March 21, 1958 by an unknown photographer of an unused grave that Ed Gein had dug for one of his last victims, a future victim, or maybe for unwanted body parts. This photo was captured the day after his isolated house at N5691 2nd Ave, Plainfield, Wisconsin 54966 had burned to the ground. The farmhouse and all of his farm property was going to be sold by auction on March 30, 1958 (his arrest day was Nov. 16, 1957). As of today this place is off the market private property with a no trespassing sign posted at the main roadside entrance.
